You have less than four
seconds to grab someone's
attention and under eight
seconds to keep it!!!
After that, your message
falls on deaf ears. Your audience will click on to another web page
or file your printed message in the circular filing cabinet (aka garbage
can). They simply move on, and get away from your message.
How can you reduce the chances
of this occurring? Did you ever wonder why so many speakers begin
with a joke? It is a way to gain your audiences attention.
Start with an attention grabbing header – a quote from a well known expert
or interesting fact on the subject. Once you have it, quickly start
educating your audience in an easy-to-understand manner. Show them
now that you are the expert explaining benefits and disadvantages (if any)
in the topic. In regards to printing, I recommend that you include
color.
Color says so much
when used correctly because colors communicate on their own.
Red is a fiery color
with emotionally intense feelings attached to it- energy, danger, strength,
power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love
Orange is an energetic
color, evoking joy and enthusiasm.
Yellow is known for
producing a warming effect, cheerfulness, and will stimulate mental activity
Blue is a calm and
masculine color. Said to be among the leading colors of Police departments
because navy blue commands respect while providing a sense of calm.
Green- natures dominate
color – very peaceful and giving a sense of security and ease.
Black is mysterious.
White is simplistic
and clean.
When creating a brochure,
focus not only on the text message, but in the presentation of that message.
Color documents go beyond interesting facts an figures and illustrations.
Our brochures include eye appealing, color photographs as well informative
text. And no longer is full color printing or 4-color process/
CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) reserved for larger companies with
unlimited printing budgets, but now available to any size company with
any budget who wants to inform a prospect or client.
Advancements in digital printing
technology have greatly reduced the cost per piece making color (CMYK)
document output affordable to any sized company. Not only does digital
output allow for small production runs at affordable prices, but also for
personalization allowing for one on one marketing. For longer production
runs, offset printing would be a more economical print method if personalization
were not a concern.
There is another method of
color print which is referred to as spot color. In offset printing,
a spot color is any color generated by an ink (pure or mixed) that is printed
using a single run. Examples of spot color printing are very common
on stationery or even the Sunday comics.
Regardless of the print method,
our goal is to provide you with a professional brochure, designed to grab
you audience's attention so they continue reading the subject that you
are educating them on. The longer they read your message, the greater
chance to literature will lead to further communications with your company
an interested audience.
